The Shellharbour Mini World Cup is a single day World Cup style tournament designed to deliver a fun and competitive football experience. We invite all grassroots and representative clubs to join in for fast paced, action packed fun.

Tournament Rules
- Maximum 12 players per team.
- Players must be registered with their local winter season club. Any player not registered is not permitted to play (see academy enquiries below). Proof of registration may be required.
- Players may represent one team only during the tournament. Players may not be borrowed, except in exceptional circumstances approved by the tournament organisers.
- Age eligibility follows Football NSW guidelines. Team age is determined by the oldest player in the team, based on the age they are turning in 2026.
- Registrations for each age group will close once 32 teams have registered.
- Teams are required to wear their club jerseys. Bibs will be provided if club jerseys are unavailable.
- Shin pads are mandatory for all players.
- Matches are officiated by referees and played under FIFA Laws of the Game, with junior modifications appropriate to the age group and 7 v 7 format. Full rules will be provided to registered teams prior to the tournament.
- The tournament operates under a zero-tolerance policy for abuse toward referees, officials, players, or volunteers. Coaches and team officials are responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators. Any team breaching tournament rules may be removed without refund.
- Group stage points are awarded as follows: Win – 3 points, Scored Draw – 2 points, Scoreless Draw – 1 point, Loss – 0 points.
- Knockout stage matches will proceed directly to a penalty shootout (best of three penalties per team).
- Any disputes must be lodged with a tournament official within 15 minutes of the match ending. Disputes lodged after this time frame will not be considered and results will stand.
