Established in 1967, Shellharbour City Football Club (SCFC) is a successful volunteer based organisation that has grown into one of the largest junior football clubs in the Illawarra with over 1200 registered players, as well as a thriving senior mens and women's club.

SCFC has a proud history of being a family club and the support of local businesses and the community has been a vital factor in the clubs success. Continued support ensures that our sport remains affordable for all players and their families.

In 2024, we were awarded Football Australia's Club Changer Club of the Year. This is the highest honor we could receive as a grass roots sports club and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of a small team for one of Illawarra's largest sports organisations. 

In 2025, We changed our name from Shellharbour City Football Club to Shellharbour City Football Club as a way to encompass our entire community and player base.
